It has been an honor to be able to document so many memories for my friend Krista and her family. Last year, I was able to spend a warm summer evening with just her and her girls. At this time, she was pregnant, but didn’t know. It is now an even sweeter memory knowing that all three of her little ones there for that session (to see this Motherhood session, click here).
I was able to photograph her and her husband for the maternity session (to see this Maternity session, click here). I was in the room to help welcome Bowdy James into the world and it is something I will never forget. It was a long and beautiful birth and I am so thankful I was there to chronicle the memories of that day (to see this Birth session, click here).
Most recently, I was able to capture their family of five for the first time in Krista’s stunning studio just 6 days after his arrival. I absolutely love this space of hers and am so excited each time I get to shoot here. I spent the morning taking in all the newborn cuddles, chatting with Krista and her husband about the birth, and watching the girls love on their new little brother. Since Krista is a photographer, it has been an honor to be invited with welcoming arms into so much of their lives and to document all the memories along the way.
Krista and Jason, I am so grateful for you and your family. Thank you for inviting me into your lives and allowing me to capture your family as it grows. Congratulations again on welcoming Bowdy James to the family.
