Family photos at Noerenberg Memorial Gardens in Orono, Minnesota provided the perfect backdrop for this joint newborn and family session. The family choose an outdoor setting as they wished for a change from their older son’s in-home newborn photos. I thought it was a great idea.
With the unpredictable weather, outdoor newborn sessions aren’t always a choice in Minnesota. I am so happy we got to make this one happen. The pop of green, florals, summer attire and the sun-kissed skin always makes me happy to do outdoor photos and capture this moment in time for families.
We first met at the grandparents home which is located on Lake Minnetonka. After a few photos , that included their big fluffy dog, we headed to the nearby gardens to do the rest of their family photos.
It was a warm and sunny morning, which ended up being perfect for their baby boy. He snoozed away the entire session and big brother got to go explore the garden with his grandma. It was so relaxed and playful. Scroll down to see some of my favorites from this family session.
