Last October, we took an all-girls family weekend trip to Colorado to welcome my cousin’s first baby boy. We were also able to celebrate the engagement of another cousin, Alicia to her fiancé Chris. The three of us plus their dog Willy went out for an early morning sunrise session in Loveland, CO. The morning was crisp, but beautiful with the sun rising. It highlighted the mountains behind us. It was a wonderful morning and we were entertained as Willy chased after anything in reach. We continued the morning with chai tea and family filled around the table. After breakfast, Alicia and Chris took us on a hike to Devil’s Backbone where he proposed to Alicia. It was a beautiful hike to see where their engagement journey started. These two are such a wonderful and adventurous couple. I can’t wait to attend their wedding and join all of our family members as we gather around them in Minnesota this June.
