After some back and forth between Ashely and myself via email, I finally got news that baby Afton made her arrival after being over due by more than a week. I was so excited to finally be able to meet Afton and her parents after waiting for so long.
When I walked in front door, sweet little Afton welcomed me as she laid in her basinet near the front door. She was so content and sleeping away before we even got started her newborn session! Mike and I chatted while Ashley finished getting ready. He was convinced that she really has been one of the best babies. So far they have been lucky with little fussing and nightly wake up calls. He did mention that he is prepared for when that change comes, but was going to soak up all the goodness right now.
I knew Ashley and I were going to hit it off right away because she mentioned she wanted everything neutral toned! Afton’s nursery showcased that perfectly with greys, whites, and browns. I was in heaven with the neutral colors and the beautiful head of hair that Afton has!!!
Congrats Mike and Ashley on welcoming your daughter! I couldn’t be more excited for you two!
