I met Maria, her mom, and sister at a local coffee shop a few months ago. I loved that Maria brought a few of the closest women in her life along for our meeting. It was so fun learning about Maria and Clay’s wedding plans while getting to know her family members in the process. During our meeting, I heard so much about Clay and I couldn’t wait to meet him!

Maria and Clay went to the same high school, but didn’t start dating until they found each other in college out in Philadelphia. They moved back to Minneapolis where Clay proposed. He arranged for family and some of their closest friends to help celebrate their proposal. Hearing their love story at their engagement session was so sweet. And I adored their choice of location-  the Minneapolis Institutes of Arts! Maria and Clay are the loveliest couple. We had really nice conversations about business, marriage, and travel as well. I can’t wait to meet the rest of their family and friends for their big day next year!!
