The end of last October couldn’t come fast enough for our all girls weekend trip to meet the newest family members. Half of us hopped on a plane and the other half took the long drive to Colorado to welcome Owen to the family. We all arrived shortly after one another and immediately started snuggling, kissing, ooing and awing over this sweet bundle of joy. Lindsay is the first niece of our family to have a little one and she holds so much beauty, patience, joy and love as a mother. All of us nieces learned so much from her and her mothering while we visited.
After our family member left on Sunday morning I decided to stay a little long to spend some time with my Lindsay, Joey and Owen. Seeing these two transition to parents has been flawless. They are filled with so much encouragement, love, laughter and beauty. I am so thankful I decided to have a later flight out so I could steal some extra snuggles with Owen and girl time with my cousin Lindsay and her sister Alicia on a scenic mountain walk. It is hard having them so far away, but we enjoy all the Instagram and Facebook posts of Owen and their hikes in the mountains as a family.
