A beautiful and sunny Fall day was made even sweeter by capturing these family pictures in Lakeville.

If you have been following along on my Instagram or blog for the past few years, I am sure you recognize this family of three. I have had the joy of photographing them over 10 times in the past several years – ever since their little boy entered the world, and yes I got to photograph his birth which was beyond incredible.

I have loved each session with them but this one was extra memorable as their son was very into pictures and wanting to be the center of attention. His personality was definitely shining through and I loved capturing his sweet smile and little mannerisms.

With a soft clothing color palette and the sunshine streaming through the leaves just as they have started to take on that pale green color, these family pictures are the definition of an effortless and relaxed evening. By keeping expectations very low with their son, they made if fun by playing games and being just them. I’m so happy with how the love they have for each other comes blazing through in these photos.

I’m lucky to not only count them as my friends, but also recognize what wonderful photographers they are. It really is an honor to me when I get to photograph another photographers family.
