Spring family pictures were a dream at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum with this amazing family.

I first met this family of three a few days before Christmas in 2020 for their daughter’s in-home newborn session. What a treat to photograph them this Spring for family pictures and to see their daughter’s fun and active personality.

When momma booked their Spring family pictures with me she mentioned that they were newly pregnant with baby number two. So she was looking forward to capturing a photo to use as an announcement during their session.

Before they arrived for their session, I spotted this blooming purple tree with a stone walking path. Upon seeing it, I knew it would be a perfect location for their photos.

When momma arrived in the most beautiful Spring dress, I was even more thrilled to capture these photos. The blooms and dress complimented one another to make some stunning announcement photos for them to choose from. I couldn’t have been more excited for how it all came together.

The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska is a lovely location to use throughout all the seasons in Minnesota. Unquestionably I can always find beautiful and unique spots to capture your family pictures, which is why I love to take families there.
