I have the honor of taking over the Minneapolis Tuesday’s Together Group for the Rising Tide Society. Andra and Kelly of With Grace and Gold did an amazing job leading this group and getting it started in the Minneapolis area over the last few months. They kindly asked if I would consider leading as Andra’s husband was recently offered a position in Seattle and Kelly lives in Wisconsin They were so helpful during the handoff period and were always available to answer questions to give guidance.

Rising Tide Society (or known as RST) is a group of creative entrepreneurs who gather together monthly. We promote the spirit of community over competition to spur one another on in our businesses. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month to have conversation, grow together, and lift each other up. RST can be found in cities all around the country. This month’s topic was Collaboration! While I had only two weeks to plan for this meeting, I was thankful that Britt from Woven and Wed helped to find a space for us all to gather. She contacted Mari from Collective Rentals to see if we could meet in her showroom for our first meeting. This space was perfect as everyone was able to get cozy on the beautiful antique couches and chairs. We had an amazing time getting to know some new members and sharing our thoughts on collaboration. I loved hearing how refreshing it was to be with other entrepreneurs and not feel like you are on as island trying to figure out business all on your own. This is exactly what the Rising Tide Society is about and I am so happy to have this community to grow with.

I am looking forward to next month to learn more from these creatives.
