I’m so excited to share these Prior Lake in-home newborn pictures with you!

When I got to connect with the Dahlstrom Family during a phone consultation about taking in-home newborn pictures, I couldn’t wait to start working with them. There’s something so special about first time parents welcoming their little one in the comfort of their own home.

When I first arrived to their home, we walked around deciding which areas provided the best light for their first family pictures. We landed on the master bedroom and nursery, as these two locations has beautiful morning light.

While dad was showing me around he mentioned that they were nervous and that they weren’t naturals at photos. I told him there was nothing to worry about all they needed to do was snuggle and love their baby boy. I would capture those moments.

Let’s just say mom and dad were naturals at photos and their baby boy was a dream to photograph. He loved looking towards the windows with his big eyes and getting cozy in mom and dad’s arms. 

After their session I received a kind message from them stating that getting their in-home newborn pictures done was so fun and easy, even when they felt nervous.
