A few weeks ago I go to photograph the Melander family in their home. I have known Lindsay, for a few months as she is one of the teachers at Barre3. It was my first time meeting her family and I knew we were going to have some fun as soon as I walked in the door. Her daughter offered me part of her snack within minutes of meeting me, one of her sons was sharing the cousin sleepover they had the night before and another was showing me the new bunk beds. This is why I love in-home sessions. Where everyone is comfortable and relaxed in the the comfort of their own home.
