The one year studio milestone pictures we’re such a pleasure to capture.

I have had the joy of photographing this wonderful family’s engagement, wedding, newborn portraits and now again for these one year studio milestone pictures. It has been such an honor getting to capture so many big milestones over the years. 

We planned for a natural light studio session for these portraits, as outside was still chilly with snowflakes, on the day of their session. It turned out to be a perfect setting as this is the same location we photographed her newborn session, so we all knew what to expect. 

I always love offering up one of the various natural light studios in the Minneapolis area when temps are cooler. And the soft, neutral color palette of their clothes was very complementary to the space. At the beginning of these one year studio milestone pictures, baby girl was very hesitant and curious of me. Smartly, we used all the tricks to make the best portraits of this family of three. I was so pleased with the results and all the looks of love that passed between this family of three.
