One Year Milestone Portraits

One year milestone portraits are absolutely an occasion to mark. Which is why I couldn’t wait to see this little cutie again!

I have had the joy of photographing her as part of my First-Year Collective Collection and have delighted in our times together. It has been so fun and such a privilege seeing her grow over the year.

Her one year milestone portraits happened to fall in the winter, so we met at a Minneapolis natural light studio.

Easy and comfortable location

We in Minnesota know that winters don’t provide nearly enough light, which is why a natural light studio is always a great alternative during the colder months. It’s also a fun change if you wish to change up your location for your updated portraits.

Milestone photos to cherish

I have so many favorites from her one year milestone portraits session but one that stands out is when she is standing up next to the window.

I loved how we were able to capture the awe she has of her parents behind me, her new skill of standing alone, and her little dimple hands. Such a special moment.
