Last year,  a twin cities mom put together a auction for a sweet local mom of four little ones that I had the honor of meeting once that was fighting an aggressive and rare form of brain cancer. It was heartbreaking hearing the news and I knew I wanted to do something. I offered up a session for the proceeds to help with medical expenses, living expenses and the general needs of the family. It was beautiful to see so many be involved in the auction and bless the family during this very difficult time. A twin cities local mom/photographer got the session and I couldn’t have been more thrilled.

Erin and I have known of each other for a few years, but it took us to finally meet in person after they moved to Seattle. While they had been back home to Minnesota for a visit I had the opportunity to photograph a Motherhood session for her. I loved watching how her oldest would snuggle right up in her lap and then give her mom the biggest hug before running off. And how her littlest would giggle when she was in her mom’s arms. It was such a special evening getting to know these three during their visit.
