I love being a MN based Minneapolis family photographer. Getting to meet wonderful families, like this family of four from Chanhassen, is such a gift. 

I’ve had the joy of photographing them from their loving engagement session, to wedding and now lastly a handful of family sessions! It has been such an honor capturing so many big milestones for their family over the years. 

When I announced my summer and fall schedule, Kelli was one of the first people to schedule a family session. She mentioned to me that she had set alarms to make sure she made it on my Minneapolis family photographer calendar.

Kelli was adamant on getting a family session and it means the world to me that she was so committed! Over the years she has been a huge supporter and cheerleader in my business. I’m so thankful I have had the opportunity to photograph her sweet family once again. 

During a mild evening in late summer, we met at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum for their session. I loved the quiet little garden that we found for this family of four. It was a great spot for the kids to be able to run around and be themselves. All while capturing some wonderful family memories.

During the session, one of my favorite photos I captured was when Kelli is snuggling up to her son. And then her daughter snuggled up on her back. It just shows true life with two littles. I hope this is a photo she can look back on in the years to come and feel that exact feeling she had at that moment.
