It has been such a treat to watch the Friedrich family grow over the past couple of years and to meet their extended family members. I met Carl and Alexis over four years ago, when it was just the two of them. Their family has grown since then and I am so thankful that I have been able to capture some of these milestones. Alexis is a great planner and has always scheduled her sessions months in advance. This year, Alexis asked me to photograph her side of the family. Last year I was able to photograph Carl’s extended family and both experiences were equally wonderful. After a few emails, we decided a early morning sunrise session would be best for everyone’s schedules. The early morning giggles, snuggles, and smiles were just what I needed to start off that Sunday morning.
