Family pictures with a six month old can be a bit unpredictable. The mood of a older baby can be tricky, especially when it comes to a stranger. But from the minute this little guy got out of the car he was smiling and ready to go! This little boy may be the happiest, most content, and smiley 6 month old I have had the chance to photograph.

I met this family of three in Edina near 50th and France on a beautiful summer day. As we got started I noticed how this adorable toddler matched his mom and dad’s outfits. Dad mentioned that mom often has clothes picked out well in advance, waiting to match and be photo ready. Overall, it definitely worked to plan ahead as they pulled off the matching look to a T.  

Throughout the session mom and dad were so playful and embraced the moment. Their ability to be present with their boy made it so easy to capture the loving relationships.
