I initially met Ashley & Troy last summer when they asked me to photograph their 10-year anniversary session. During the session as we were talking, we found out that we both were going to be attending a photographers conference in Arizona that fall. I got to know Troy & Ashley a little more during the conference, and we stayed in contact when we got back. Shortly, after returning home, I got a message from Ashley saying they were expecting their first baby!

Not every newborn session do I get to witness them being born, but I got to be there the day Logan made his debut! Every birth is incredibly beautiful and unique, but this one was a first for me. I got to be in the OR room for the first time, and witness Ashley & Troy become parents for the first time! It truly was an honor to be present at his birth.

A week and a half later I was welcomed into their home for Logan’s newborn session. I loved catching up with the new parents and sharing stories from Logan’s birth.
