It was such a joy getting to photograph these brand new parents for their son’s in-home newborn session. We first connected in the early Spring for a mini maternity session at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. I was excited to come to their Apple Valley home to get these photos of this new family of three.
Their sweet baby boy was very alert and wished to be awake during most of the session. While this isn’t typical when the newborn is just two weeks old, I loved it! His big eyes showed more of his personality and we got to capture many loving gazes at his parents. He was so content listening and watching his parents. It made for so many tender connections of the three of them.
One of my favorite photos from the session was right at the end when he fell asleep and got super cozy on his mom. She truly soaked up these snuggles with her brand new baby boy. What a wonderful in-home newborn session to be a part of.
