I love capturing summer family photos. So often clients will overlook booking family photos in the summer because of busy schedules. But I think it’s the perfect time.

It’s especially fun when it is with this family of five. They have been some of my biggest cheerleaders and supports since starting my business. From engagement, to wedding, to maternity photos and multiple family sessions, I couldn’t be more thankful to capture all the milestones. It is always such an honor capturing their family photos and watching them grow and change over the years.

Their latest session at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum was easy and breezy to capture. I love being able to schedule summer family photos while everything is still green, kids can wear shorts, sandals and where everyone seems a little more relaxed. I enjoy the feel so much I even have a Pinterest board with some family apparel inspiration for sessions like these.
