I’m so excited to share this special mom with kids family session! When Karen reached out about family photos, I just couldn’t wait to photograph her and her two littles.

This session meant a lot to me as Karen as I cross paths many times at our local Barre3 studio. So being able to see her interact and play with her children outside the studio was so fun. 

We met on a beautiful summer day in Edina along the Minnehaha Creek for their mom with kids family session. When we first got there, Karen shared that she almost moved her session as her daughter had a very loose tooth that was about to fall out! She felt uncertain of how it was going to look in photos. I am so glad she stuck with the session as I think being able to document this season for her daughter is special. There is only a short amount of time with those baby teeth and before the permanent ones come in and their smile changes. Loved the photos we were able to capture of this special time.

We had so much fun at this session with singing, playing games and letting momma and the kids love on one another. I especially liked how the two littles soft color palette clothing looked against their momma’s radiant blue dress.
