Family pictures are always such an honor to capture. Which was why I was so excited to meet up with this family of three again.
I met Heather and Alex when they welcomed their baby girl and I had the opportunity to capture her in-home newborn session. This time we met for family pictures and to capture their daughter turning one!!
I was looking forward to these family pictures at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum for so long. We initially had planned for the session a few weeks ahead of schedule. But after having a cooler Spring, with no blooms or color, we moved the session date. I am so glad we did!
The session magically ended up being the same timeframe that the crabapple trees were in full bloom. I was beyond thrilled when I pulled up to the location and saw the white and pink blooms. Absolutely stunning.
Despite the sun drenched crabapple trees, it was a very cold morning at the Arb during their family pictures. However with their beaming smiles, you would have never have guessed the cold! They braved the morning and all three were so calm and relaxed during our time together.
