There is something so incredibly special about newborn pictures. Being invited into a client’s home to capture this magical moment is such a gift. It’s even better when the newborn pictures session is with a family, I’ve known for quite a few years.

Over the last several years, I’ve had a front row seat to photograph big milestones for this family of four. It all started with this special couple’s engagement & wedding. This was followed by their son’s newborn pictures, plus a sprinkling of family sessions. What an absolute honor and privilege to be a part for this family of four as they have grown and changed.

I recently met them at their beautiful Minnetonka home for their daughter’s newborn picture session. The last time I was there was to take their son’s newborn pictures, which I featured on my blog. It was at the beginning of the pandemic, so we had the session on their front porch which worked well.

This time around we were able to use the nursery to capture this special season for their family. Which was perfect. There was such amazing natural light that streamed in making for some timeless photos that I know they’ll cherish for years to come.
