I know it can feel like your to-do list is never ending before the baby arrives and booking your newborn photography session may not seem high on the list. From picking out the nursery décor to checking out pediatricians, I know there’s a lot to do. However, reaching out when you are still pregnant is the best way to go when planning for that all-important newborn photography session.

3 reasons you should book your newborn photography session early

  1. Ensure your dream photographer is available. Schedules fill up quickly and only so many sessions can be taken in a month’s timeframe, so it’s best to book early to guarantee you get what you want. In order to serve my newborn clients well, I only take 5 newborn photography sessions per month. By booking early, you can get on the calendar to ensure that perfect newborn photography timeframe of 7-14 days old.
  2. Keep it stress free. Once your baby arrives you should be enjoying those newborn days and not adding stress to your plate by having to research and schedule a session. With booking in advance, you have a date on the calendar that works for everyone in the family (no last minute surprises!) and you have plenty of time to plan the details of your session.
  3. You can plan financially. We all know babies are expensive. From diapers, clothing, hospital costs and more planning financially for your newborn session is important! You don’t want to have to settle with a photographer you weren’t desiring to hire because of the last minute expense. By booking while you are still pregnant you have months to save for the photographer you always dreamed of working with.

Make it easier for yourself and get something crossed off your list by booking your newborn photography session early. I’d love to connect with you and help answer any questions you may have.
