Angela and Luke’s Minnesota winter engagement session this past weekend was chilly, but one I have been looking forward to for so long. I had the honor of meeting Angela while she was a bridesmaid at one of my friends weddings that I photographed. It was fun to catch up with Angela and Luke since it had been a while that I have seen them in person.
Angela and Luke, met and were about to start dating after she graduated college, but she wasn’t able to find a job at the time so she left for the Twin Cities and Luke continued to live in Fargo/Moorhead. As fate would have it, Angela’s best friend was getting married to Luke’s brother, they both happened to be in the wedding and reconnected. They started making secret long distance trips to see one another. After nearly two years of driving back and forth, they decided to call Moorhead home and started building a home together.
While building their new home together they often drive by to see the progress. One night they decided to do an evening walk through as the sun was going down and this was the night Luke got down on one knee and asked Angela to spend the rest of her life with him!!! They are looking forward to seeing the house being complete in the next couple of weeks!
Congrats Angela and Luke I can’t wait for your wedding this year at Gathered Oaks in Alexandria.
