When couples email me they want a winter engagement session in Minnesota, I always applaud them. You never know what you are going to get as winters could be in the negative double digits plus piles of snow or we could have record setting warm temps. Kera and Dylan were wishing for a snowy winter engagement session to complement their winter wedding next January. Once our schedules aligned, we set a date for early March. We figured we couldn’t go wrong with having a few inches of snow on the ground already. During the week leading up to their session, we brainstormed some snow filled areas, but it just wasn’t going to work out. It was a huge surprise to us when it ended up being nearly sixty degrees on the day of their session. Kera and Dylan were understanding that we probably wouldn’t end up with snow anytime soon so we moved forward with their session date. I am so glad we did because we had beautiful weather and the images would be beautiful no matter what. I couldn’t be happier for these two!
