The minute I walked into Woven and Wed’s studio, I recognized Britt’s style. She has a love for white spaces that are enhanced with touches of green and gold. Her aesthetic is so similar to my own and it makes our collaborations even smoother! This workshop showcased her style perfectly. From the treats from Amy’s Cupcakes to the donuts hung on a peg board to the DIY mimosa bar, these students were in for a real delight.
Each 2 hour session with Britt includes all of the materials you need to get started including pens, a workbook, and a fun tote bag to keep all of it in. Learning calligraphy is such a pleasurable pastime and Britt is wonderfully patient and informative. She has created an inspirational and beautiful space for learning. I had a really good time capturing others learn the art of calligraphy. I was so thrilled for each student when one had completed their first perfect letter or word. Everyone was so supportive of each other and it was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
